Liqoria’s biggest update yet is here, bringing new player features, a fresh lyrics experience, and major performance improvements throughout the app

Whether you listen from the notch, floating player, menu bar,dock, or lock screen, this update makes Liqoria smoother and gives you more control over your music

A Fresh Look for Lyrics

The floating player now features an all-new lyrics design, giving your favorite songs a fresh look

We’ve also improved lyrics scrolling animations and fixed lyrics issues for a smoother experience

On the lock screen, you can get the same beautiful design but with bigger and better much for the lock screen

More Control in the Floating Player

The large floating player now includes your queue and listening history, making it easier to see what’s coming next and revisit songs you’ve played

New shuffle and repeat buttons put more playback controls within reach, and you can now turn AutoMix on or off (autoplay will come later)

Your Notch Player on Every Screen

You can now choose to show notch players on all screens, giving you more flexibility when using multiple displays

We’ve also added a swipe-up gesture to minimize the notch live activity, improved its performance

A New Lock Screen Visualizer

The audio visualizer just announced in the last update and now we expand it to the lock screen player

The new lock screen visualizer brings more movement to your music while your Mac is locked and give you a nostalgic moment with modern design

Faster, Smoother, and More Efficient

A major part of this update is how Liqoria feels during everyday use

We’ve massive improved performance across the app, including the notch player, menu bar player, and setups with multiple players running

Improved the liquid glass rendering to reduce the GPU usage

Reduced GPU usage helps improve battery efficiency, while smoother animations make interacting with Liqoria feel more fluid

The search interface has also get some new tweaks

Fixes Throughout the App

This update also fixes the AirPlay icon in the floating player, text display issues, external display bugs, and UI issues on macOS 15

Together with the new features and performance improvements, these fixes make this our most substantial Liqoria update yet
